Sportcentrum Olympos has extensive and versatile facilities. These are situated at the Utrecht Science Park.
Students and employees of Utrecht’s higher education institutions form the primary group Olympos is dedicated to serving. In addition, Olympos welcomes other sports enthusiasts as well!
Wide range of sports
Olympos offers a wide and varied range of sports; you can do about 70 sports here! You won’t find such variety anywhere else in Utrecht. Would you like to take a course? Want your pick of some 65 group lessons every week? Fancy a workout in the gym, a game of tennis, squash or beach volleyball? Want to scale the Kalymnos climbing wall? You can do all that – and more – with just one sports card, the OlymPas!
You can also join one of the 31 student sports clubs affiliated with Olympos! Look through the sports programmes or the alphabetical list of all sports and see what best matches what you can and want to do. You can enrol in a sport at the Service Desk or via this website.
Sports at a discount
Olympos has cooperation agreements with a number of institutions. As a result, students and employees of these institutions benefit from a discount when they use the facilities at Olympos.
Sports days, events and meetings
The spacious and versatile premises at Sportcentrum Olympos are also available for hire. Olympos also has various meeting rooms.
Sports Café Olympos
The Sports Café is both the place to relax and unwind at Olympos and the home base of more than 20 student sports clubs. This is where you can enjoy a bite or simply a drink, whether you have come to Olympos to do sport, are a student or employee of the Utrecht Science Park taking a break from lectures or work, or are attending an event. While the evening lights grow dim across the Science Park, Olympos is often bustling until gone midnight.
