Yoga Hatha & Nidra

In the Yoga Hatha lessons we move slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility. In this lesson we focus on relaxation and mindfulness with a special emphasis on controlled breathing and posture. It integrates dynamic postures with slow and deep holds and may be accentuated with relaxation in-between postures. The breathing exercises can have a powerful impact on things like depression, fatigue or anxiety.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It’s usually practiced lying down with a teacher guiding your attention inwards. Learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where your body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis). 
The breath becomes quiet and more balanced. Unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves as we fall into a state of deep, blissful awareness. Yoga Nidra helps with sleep, stress relief, and improved concentration. 

Hatha & Nidra combine gentle movements with the deep relaxation of ‘yogic sleep’.
