Yoga in Depth: Breath, Meditation & Flow

From 12 May - 7-week yoga course: Discover the power of yoga in your daily life

Have you already taken a few yoga classes, or are you completely new to the world of yoga? In this 7-week course you will discover how yoga can support you in daily life. We will not only delve into the different yoga styles and postures that are best known in the West, but also into breathing techniques, meditation and a touch of yoga philosophy.

During this course you will gain a broader and deeper understanding of what yoga entails. You will learn to breathe more consciously with different techniques, to concentrate your mind and to apply different meditation exercises that you can integrate into your daily life. We do this learning process together with a fixed group, where there will also be some interaction and reflection with the other participants.

Each lesson lasts 90 minutes and consists of a structured combination of meditation and asana practice. Every two weeks we focus on one of the three core aspects of yoga:
🧘 Meditation (Dhyana) – Learn how to train your attention and calm your mind.
🌬 Breathing (Pranayama) – Discover how conscious breathing affects your energy and focus.
🤸 Postures (Asana) – Strengthen and relax your body with various yoga postures & flows.

At the end of the class there will be room to ask questions and share your experience.

Whether you are looking for relaxation, want to experience more balance or are looking to deepen your yoga practice – this course offers you an accessible introduction to a number of aspects of yoga.

About the teacher:
After a period of fanatic sports and hard work in an office job that did not make Anne-Pim happy, she started to delve into meditation. She started with a zen meditation course, where she sat for almost an hour and a half at a time. During those sessions, Anne-Pim often felt like she wasn't doing it right, because her thoughts were constantly going in all directions.
Anne-Pim tried different approaches and eventually ended up with yoga. With yoga, she could focus more easily on the postures and breathing and her thoughts also became calmer. Developing her own yoga practice gave Anne-Pim the space to experience more peace in movement and silence - both in her body and in her mind. She doesn't have a "perfect" practice (if such a thing even exists), but she has gained valuable insights over time.
Anne-Pim has now completed 550 hours of yoga teacher training and has 3 years of experience in teaching different styles of yoga. With her experience, she can offer you different aspects of yoga, so that you can discover for yourself what suits you and what you can possibly apply in your daily life. For Anne-Pim, yoga has not only provided more flexibility in her body, but also a more flexible and relaxed attitude to life, with more contact with her feelings and her body.

This course was created from the need to have more time to provide explanations and in-depth information in the lessons to students who are interested in this.
