USSV Softijs
Softijs is an speed-skating club with approx. 200 speed-skating, inline-skating and cycling student-members. The club aims at anyone who is interested in learning to skate as well as at students with skating experience who like to measure their strength with the best student skaters in the Netherlands.
Training and activities
There are several training groups during the ice skating season so that everyone can skate on his or her own level. Training is given on Wednesdays en there is an extra training on Monday and Friday evenings. There are different training programs offered during the summer period. Interval, dry land, skeeler and cycling training is offered during this period. So as a Softijs member you can be active all year long.
Besides the training, all kinds of other activities are organized all season like: camps (abroad), monthly drink functions, dinners, parties, competitions, world cup outings and many more! This makes Softijs a very fun and social sports club.

Want to become a member?
If you wish to become a member of an SSC, you will have to:
- Pay membership fees to the club of your choice. The fees may differ per club.
- Own a valid OlymPas or Sports Club Card. If you’re in rate category A an OlymPas is required. If you’re in rate category B or C, you can choose between an OlymPas or the Sports Club Card.
- Register for free at Olympos as a member of you SSC.
