U.S.R. Hippeia
U.S.R. Hippeia is the Utrecht Student Riding club. This small and close-knit club focuses on having fun together. In addition to the weekly lessons on the Wednesday evenings, Hippeia offers various activities - both with and without horses -, such as outdoor rides in the woods or on the beach, jumping lessons, drink parties, jump and dressage competition and wine tasting events. As long as since 1936, Hippeia has provided riders with lessons at all levels against reduced student rates.
Certified instructors gives lessons at various levels at 't Hoogt Horse Riding School each Wednesday evening. For further information about the lessons, please contact our board members via info@hippeia.nl. You can also opt for a trial lesson or a beginner’s course which introduces you to the sport of horse riding.
Membership fees (exclusive OlymPas)
- Annual membership fees riding student members: € 35.00
- Annual membership fees non-riding student members: € 25.00

Want to become a member?
If you wish to become a member of an SSC, you will have to:
- Pay membership fees to the club of your choice. The fees may differ per club.
- Own a valid OlymPas or Sports Club Card. If you’re in rate category A an OlymPas is required. If you’re in rate category B or C, you can choose between an OlymPas or the Sports Club Card.
- Register for free at Olympos as a member of you SSC.
