STUdance
STUdance is THE biggest student dance club in Utrecht. Nearly 350 members participate in dance lessons and groups at various levels. STUdance offers hiphop, jazz, contemporary, classical ballet,streetdance and feminine. In additon, STUdance offers a mix-class; an ideal class at beginner level to try out various dance styles. In addition to the regular lessons, you can register for the technique lesson and/or pointe time. During the technique lesson you can work on your strength and posture, among other things. Pointe time offers you the opportunity to learn to dance on pointe.
Are you going to study abroad for a semester, no worries! Even then you can dance at STUdance. In fact, STUdance offers a half yearly membership.
STUdance also has a demo team! D.A.M.N (Dance And Move Now) is specialized in Modern, Jazz and Show dance. D.A.M.N.consist of enthusiastic STUdancers who regularly perform at events.
Besides dancing, STUdance is a club for fun and social activities. Enthusiastic committees within STUdance organize a lot of activities, free of any obligation, during the year. Like monthly drinks in our favourite bar, parties, workshops, theatre outings, unforgettable weekend outings and the prom. Each season we conclude with a great performance which all club members are involved in. We will then be performing with about 350 dancers in the Stadsschouwburg in Utrecht.

Want to become a member?
If you wish to become a member of an SSC, you will have to:
- Pay membership fees to the club of your choice. The fees may differ per club.
- Own a valid OlymPas or Sports Club Card. If you’re in rate category A an OlymPas is required. If you’re in rate category B or C, you can choose between an OlymPas or the Sports Club Card.
- Register for free at Olympos as a member of you SSC.
