Poweryoga

Power yoga is a vigorous and dynamic lesson during which the various poses are linked by a dynamic flow. You will work on your flexibility, strength and strength endurance. Your breathing will be paid attention to as well.  

 

(Moving) meditation is an important part of and, therefore, woven through the whole lesson. You will learn to move from your mind into your body and ultimately obtain relaxation after exertion. 

 

The first part of the lesson is vigorous and dynamic. The last part can be varied by more focus on Yin, with a longer duration of the postures.  

 

While Yang yoga has a stronger focus on your muscles, Yin yoga centres on the ligaments and energy pathways in your body. We recommend that you bring an extra top to be used during the calm meditation at the end of the lesson.  

 

This lesson is accessible to all levels!
