Orca encourages you to get the best out of yourself. From rowing on the Merwede Canal to racing in the Olympic games; Orca rowers shine everywhere! Rowing at Orca constitutes the perfect combination of sports and social activities: rowing and then drinking with enthusiastic, fit people from other study programmes. Being active with one major goal: doing well on all events where the university cities are being represented. In addition, you get the chance to develop yourself by way of the membership of various committees and groups or as a cox or coach. A great start to your time as a student!

U.S.R. Triton

The Utrecht student rowing club Triton is a student rowing club that has been defending its honour in national and international waters since 1880. Triton has been leading its rowers to the top for 136 years now; it is a club that has gained many World and Olympic medals and been participating in the Olympic games every four years. 

As a result of its long history, Triton has many fine traditions and customs. It is a very popular club with more than 800 members, the majority very active ones. Are you interested in rowing or learning to row and in having a great time at our club? Join Triton: rowing with ambition!
