Cardio jam session
Pound is  the world’s first cardio jam session and originates from Los Angeles in 2011. With the aid of Ripstix, specially engineered lightly weighted drumsticks, this workout covers your entire body. All of the exercises are conducted to pop music. Pound combines cardio, fitness and strength training, yoga and Pilates.

 

Focus
As a result of the use of Ripstix, the focus of the practice shifts from counting the exercises or checking the clock to the rhythm of the music. It allows you to keep doing the exercises for a longer period of time. During a 45 minute workout, you will burn as many as 900 calories. Pound improves your sense of rhythm, coordination, pace and endurance.
